Perched in the middle of the sometimes treacherous waters of Bass Strait, King Island has a long shipwreck history.

We invite those who are curious at heart to immerse themselves in the culture and history of King Island with our three-day shipwreck touring package.

Your immersion in King Island's shipwreck history begins with two nights' stay at the charming Bronzewing Cottages - named after the Bronzewing cargo ship which was shipwrecked off the coast of King Island in 1914. During your stay, you will be taken on a fully guided half-day tour of King Island's historic shipwreck sites. You will also visit King Island Dairy, where King Island's award-winning cheese is produced.

The Bronzewing Cottages are located a short (but scenic!) 20 minutes' drive from Currie. They offer the ideal environment to relax, unwind, and take in the immense oceanic views.
