COVID Travel Updates

The following information is correct as of Friday 28 January 2022.

Sharp Airlines thanks you in advance for your assistance in adhering to Government policies regarding travel in Tasmania.

Travel to/within Tasmania

All travellers within Tasmania please note the following:

• Visit the Tasmanian COVID website - Ready to Travel page for the most up-to-date travel information.
• If you are fully vaccinated and have not spent time in an extreme-risk area, you don’t need to register your travel to Tasmania.
• Unvaccinated travellers and any who has spent time in an extreme-risk area (regardless of vaccination status) must apply for approval to enter Tasmania, if approved requirements and conditions apply. Penalties apply for travellers who ignore entry requirements.
• If you are required to apply for approval to enter Tasmania, this must done through the  Tas e-Travel system and you must receive a valid travel QR code.
• For information on registering your travel and arrival conditions visit the Tasmanian coronavirus website
• Travellers should be ready to provide evidence of full vaccination and a negative COVID-19 PCR test result (if applicable) at the border.
• Masks are mandatory in all Tasmanian indoor venues and at large outdoor events (1000+ patrons) for all people aged 12 years and older.
• All travellers must wear a face mask while in the airport terminal and onboard airplanes
• While in Tasmania, keep it COVID safe - download the Check in TAS app and make sure you check in at venues and events, and if you develop any COVID symptoms, get tested.
