After a difficult start to 2022, including the cancellation of the much-loved Festival of King Island - the Tasmanian Government has announced a fantastic travel scheme to encourage visitation to the Island. 

The scheme will provide $300 towards the cost of King Island accommodation and tourism experiences for travel between 1 May and 31 July. It will be limited to 700 bookings - so you’ll need to get in fast when the scheme will be open for applications in early April.
